THE TREE

The tree is a transformer.

Where there is a tree, there is peace.

A tree can instantly, magically alter a landscape; what is barren becomes fecund, what’s sterile, splendorous.

And  with a sheet of water close by, there is a celestial dance in silence.

Have you ever felt dwarfed by a tree, however, overarching it is ? A mansion can intimidate you, an edifice may make you feel inadequate, a behemoth could make you feel small,

but a tree always takes you into its fold gently, unobstrusively, as you step into its invisible threshold,  as if you have always belonged there.

As the late afternoon sun glints of its leaves, there is a stellar standstill.

A tree is an abode of life; life inheres in it without demur, without fear.

  1. Yes of course. Without trees humans cannot exist but without humans trees will flourish much better. They are the sustainer of life.
